The name Gartish is a combination derived from the names of the three Keller-Angelina family children. Garcìn,Tisha and “last but not least” Khárlon.
Gartish tegelwerk N.V. officially opened business in 1993 with a N.V. on Curaçao. Core business consisted of tiling and placing marble and stone floors. The sale of tiles was started not long after that.
Mr. Carlos Keller, owner of Gartish, is a professional tile-layer. He specialized himself in this type of work in the Netherlands and has a broad knowledge about the subject.
After living and working in the Netherlands for 20 years mr. Carlos Keller decided to transfer his gained knowledge to the people of the Dutch Caribbean (Bonaire and Curaçao in particular) in an effort to contribute to the local economy. On his initiative, and in his unique manner, several companies and private parties received his professional advice.
Gartish participated in many projects on the island and worked with a number of companies. (Bohama, Curcon, Betonbouw and Antiliaanse Nederlandse Bouwbedrijf)
